Delorean – Ayrton Senna EP

Posted in Uncategorized by Noel on 11 March, 2010

Some songs are made for when you’re driving. The tempo is cruising, the rhythm breezy. You get a sense of motion, and it’s liberating. “Deli” is the song of the summer. (Never mind it’s not summer.)

I don’t know much about Delorean except that they are from Barcelona, and that they were formerly a punk band––which explains why there’s an immediacy in their otherwise cool, electronic grooves. They named the EP after a British F1 legend (who happens to be Brazilian), so it could have intentionally been a driver’s record.

It’s also used for Singapore’s latest tourism campaign, which features an F1 fan’s take on the country.
