Carsick Cars – Carsick Cars

Posted in Beijing Bands by Noel on 15 October, 2008

Beijing’s brightest stars, Carsick Cars, were infamously denied of a chance to open for Sonic Youth in April 2007. Sonic Youth apparently felt so bad about it (the fuck-up occured coz of their involvement with Free Tibet) that they invited the band to open for them in Europe instead.

Recent rumours include an upcoming cover on the NME, and a follow-up album to be produced by Jim O’Rourke.
